Doctoral Student Support Project (SPRING GX and BOOST NAIS) Call for applications (Deadline: January 29（Wed）15:00)

SPRING GX

The University of Tokyo "Fostering Advanced Human Resources to Lead Green Transformation (GX)" project (Project officer : Professor Shin-ichi Ohkoshi) supported by Support for Pioneering Research Initiated by Next Generation (SPRING) of Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) is the program that 1,154 doctoral students participate from all schools of the University of Tokyo. 
We recruit ca. 350 students entering the doctoral course in Spring 2025.

Applicants: A person who will be admitted to the doctoral program of the university's graduate school (including 4-year doctoral course) in Spring 2025.
Number of students to be admitted: Around 350 students
Application period: January 10,2025 (Fri) - January 29,2025 (Wed)15:00

*M2 students currently enrolled in WINGS are also eligible

BOOST NAIS

Supported by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) under the BOOST initiative for young researchers and doctoral students in national strategic areas, the University of Tokyo's project "Advanced AI Talent Development to Lead the Next-Generation Intelligent Society (BOOST NAIS)" is open to all doctoral students (including those in 4-year doctoral programs) at the university. We are now calling for approximately 21 project participants who entered in the doctoral program in the spring of 2025.

Applicants:
Applicants for the doctoral programs starting in Spring 2025, including those in 4-year doctoral programs.

Number of students to be admitted:
Around 21 students
